Crafted from high-fire stoneware, these bowls are designed to be completely food safe. I use a rich, matte black and brown stoneware clay that provides a striking base. This is dramatically contrasted by the ‘lava rim’ glaze - a light applied satin white that pools and breaks over the uneven edge, creating a molten, natural flow effect unique to every bowl.
These bowls stack cleanly for storage while maintaining a profound sculptural presence. When nested, they form a unified, quiet piece of art; separated their individual character shines on your table or shelf.
